Latest reports are that police questioned Kavya Madhavan and her mother regarding actress attack. Special Investigation Team (SIT) interrogated both of them on Tuesday. 

While Kavya was questioned for six hours from 11 am to 5 pm her mother Shyamal was grilled at night. There are reports that the police is likely to quiz the actress again as her answers lack clarity.

Both were asked about matters back from 2013, a year before Dileep got the divorce from Manju Warrier. Sources reveal that they were also asked about the American tour with Dileep as part of a show in May. 

Kavya was asked about the role of assaulted actress in the incidents that led to the divorce between Dileep and Manju. It is known that Kavya accepted that the attacked actress knew about her relationship with Dileep and that it led to some issues in their lives. 

Dileep had denied reports that the attacked actress knew about his relationship with Kavya Madhavan. He had also denied that they were in a relationship or Kavya has any role in the breakup of his marriage. 

Hence, these statements given by Kavya will turn out to be crucial for Dileep.
