Kerala man found dead police on hunt for wife

Maharashtra police is on the hunt for a Kerala woman, who allegedly choked her husband to death. Nitin Nair, 27, a native of Kayamkulam, was found dead in his house in Nagpur on April 29.

Swathy, his wife, had informed that her husband died after hitting his head. However, the postmortem report revealed that Nitin was choked to death and that it was a murder. This led to doubts about Swathy's involvement in the killing.

Nithin had rented a house in Nagpur for the treatment of his father, Ramesh Nair. Nair, who was undergoing treatment at Wockhardt Heart Hospital, also died soon after the incident.

The woman had returned to her parents who were residing in Madhya Pradesh. The whole family went missing after police registered case for murder.

Palakkad native Swathy, who was a divorcee, got married to Nitin in September 2016.
