Though several dance videos were made later, it was the dance of Sheril and her colleagues that became most popular.

The latest report about this dance video was that Sheril, who led the dance, got an invitation to act in next Vijay movie.

Responding to this report, Sheril said that she got a call from Tamil film director K S Ravikumar asking whether she is interested in acting in movies. "I was in class when the call came, and he requested to give a call back if I am interested in acting in movies. I did not ask further details then," she said.

Sheril also said that she had heard that Ravikumar is planning his next movie with Vijay. The teacher did call back the director but informed that she is not interested in acting in movies. "I would love to go ahead with my teaching career. I am committed to this and is not interested in joining films," she said.
