A protest had been staged before the house of Hadiya, the girl whose marriage was annulled by High Court after she converted and got married to a Muslim.

Five women went to the house to meet the girl and to give her some sweets and books. However, the parents did not allow them to meet the girl.
The women who went to meet her also said that the parents were not ready to allow them to meet her or to give the things they had bought for her.
They alleged that the parents alleged that the women have come along with media persons. The father said they are capable of meeting the needs of Hadiya.
The women also posted two Facebook videos explaining the situation.
The women also said that Hadiya pleaded, through window of the house, to help her and said that she is being abused. The protestors also alleged that the incident amounts to human rights violation and the girl is denied of fundamental rights.
