A Kerala Court extended actor Dileep's remand period till August 8 Dileep responded that he does not have any complaint about the court's decision The actor reportedly 'broke down' on hearing that the High Court denied him bail

The Angamaly Judicial First Class Magistrate Court today extended the remand period of actor Dileep till August 8. It has been 14 days since the actor was arrested on charges of conspiracy that led to the abduction and attack of the actress.

The actor responded that he does not have any complaints regarding courts decision. With the latest decision, it has become clear that the actor will remain in jail for almost a month. 

Kerala High Court had cancelled his bail plea on July 24. There were reports that the actor broke down on knowing that the High Court has cancelled his bail plea.

However, Dileep informed the magistrate court that he has no complaint against its decision to extend remand period by 14 days, extending his days in jail to 28 days. The actor was not produced before the court after the intelligence wing warned of security issues. The court had allowed the proceedings to be conducted through video conferencing.

The Angamaly court gave a relaxation in presenting Dileep before the judge in person after the police informed the magistrate about security threats an and intelligence report that indicated the possibility of a public suicide by fans.
