Couple goes Live on Facebook after moral police attack at Kozhikode park [Video]

FollowA Kerala couple went Live on Facebook after a moral policing brigade launched verbal attacks on them at the Sarovaram Bio Park in Kozhikode on Thursday.
Malappuram native KVM Faheem was lying in his friend's lap in the park when a security guard, a woman claiming to be the park's manager and two other women came to them, raising objection to the way they were sitting.
The argument escalates quickly and heated words are exchanged. The park authorities then threaten the couple by saying they would call the cops and have them arrested, if they don't "sit properly".
The couple can then be seen telling the authorities that they can phone the police or their families if they wan to but they would not budge. The moral police then disperses but not before one of the women use a phrase that had nothing "moral" about it.
The Live video went viral on Facebook, with more than 10K views and over 50 shares. Most of the comments to the video were in support of the couple, praising their decision to respond to the moral police.
Incidents of moral policing at the Sarovaram Park have been reported before as well.
