Anticipatory bail Kavya Madhavan

Kerala High Court has said that Kavya Madhavan does not require anticipatory bail. The High Court bench stated that bail is not required as police are not planning to arrest the actress.

The Special Investigation Team, probing actress attack case had informed the court that the actress will not be arrested under the current situation.

The prosecution also told the court that the SIT does not have any evidence against the actress and that she is not named accused in the case.

Meanwhile, the court has postponed the hearing in the anticipatory of bail plea of director Nadirshah for October 4. The police won't be able to arrest him till the court disposes of his petition. However, police can question him if needed.

The High Court has also denied bail to Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in actress attack case. The court accepted prosecution statement that he has destroyed crucial evidence and pointed out that there is enough evidence to prove that he is directly involved in the case.

The single bench assessed that the accused has contacts in film field and is capable of influencing the witness. However, the court said that Suni can approach Angamaly Magistrate Court for bail.
