Actress attack: Aju Varghese blames his destiny for his Facebook post on victim

Actor Aju Varghese, who was booked for revealing the name of the assaulted actress in a Facebook post, has now revealed why he did that. The actor also said that this is the first time he had been named accused in a case.

"I had made the post using my mobile phone, which has a broken screen. Have you heard elders saying, never to use a broken mirror? Similarly, I shouldn't have used a broken phone," the actor said.

Aju also said that he revealed the name of the actress as she is his friend. "We always call our friends by name and not a victim. This is why I made that mistake. Anyway, I would blame my time," he said.

The actor also stated that he valued the statement of Prithviraj that he won't let disrespect for women be celebrated in movies. "After that incident, we also have started distancing from adult comedies. There were no such dialogues in Dhyan Sreenivasan's script. Though Neeraj Madhavan had written two three sentences to the line, he removed it later. There is no need to make such comments when we can have situation comedies,"  Aju said., 

Aju Varghese was booked for revealing the name of the actress in a Facebook post. He was later arrested and released on bail. 

However, police did not book case against actress Rima Kallingal, who made the same mistake as Aju Varghese. Here's why:
