Fourth International airport of Kerala opens at Kannur in September

Pinarayi Vijayan's press conference in New Delhi announced that Kannur airport would be operational in September. Pinarayi said in a press briefing that Union Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu had assured that the existing provisions would be changed in a bid to dismay fears about the Kannur airport. The airport authority chairperson will visit the airport ahead of schedule.

The Kerala Government's performance is excellent. Kerala has received the best rank of the UN Human Development Index. The state has a program implemented for the protection of the elderly. 

Janamaithri police have received an award for excellent maintenance of law and order. Kerala has been leading in dairy development. The chief minister said the agriculture minister had reached the head office in Delhi to receive the prize.

Study on the possibilities of the airport at Sabarimala is also under consideration. Power from Kuttamkulam will be speeded up. Public transport will be developed. The GAIL project will be implemented on time. Construction of highway in three areas will be speeded up.

Kerala has an individual policy for the women's and child welfare department and has also implemented a different policy for transgenders.
