This is what PM Modi has to say on Mangalore rains

Heavy rains lashed various parts of Karnataka that further caused waterlogging and falling of trees. The districts where the optimal damage took place, are Mangalore and Udupi. To prevent further loss, the Deputy Collector has announced that schools and colleges will remain closed and has advised people, especially children, to stay indoors. A team of NDRF has also been on standby to prevent any mishaps from happening. PM Modi has tweeted his message to the affected civilians. He tweeted that he prays for the well-being of the victims and has ordered speedy operations. Here's his tweet

I pray for the safety and wellbeing of all those affected by heavy rains in various parts of Karnataka. Have spoken to officials and asked them to ensure all possible assistance in the affected areas.
