Suvarna reported that the incident occurred at a PG in Deepanjali Nagar. One man named Karthik and his friends are accused of raping the victim.
The report also said that the victim tried to file a case in this regard at the Byatarayanapura Police Station but the case was not registered. Now she has approached the City Police Commissioner to file a case in this regard, said Suvarna report.
The incident is said to have occurred on May 18, but as the police refused to file a case in this regard it was not reported anywhere.
Whether the case has been booked at least now is yet to be ascertained.
