Sharath murder: Shocking details of kidnap-killing of Bengaluru teen

The mysterious case has seen many twists today after eight days of the incident, including the family ties to the murder.
Sharath belonged to a Malayalee family but was brought up in Bengaluru. Was on his way to show his new bike to his friends on September 12. But the day turned fatal as he was stopped at an isolated place and was taken away on a car. Later that night, he was asked to send a WhatsApp video to his parents. Where he was heard saying, "They have lethal weapons. Please do not report it to the police, give them the money they have demanded (Rs 50 Lakh). He was also seen telling that his sister was also being followed. "Let it end with me... or else they will even hurt my sister. They have all the information. Please give the money at the earliest.

However, after receiving the WhatsApp video, the boy's family filed a complaint with the police. As soon as the culprit gets the information, he strangulates the boy with a nylon rope and kills him on the same day. Then tying a stone to Sharath's body, they throw it into Ramohalli Lake. Three days later, the police cannot find any clue about where the boy is.
Meanwhile, the accused keep a tab on Ramohalli Lake and find that the body had surfaced from the lake. Scared of the repercussions, they remove the body and take it to quarry work site and dump the body in a small water body there. The body resurfaced today, and the police on the search for the body arranged for a post-mortem on the body on the spot where the body was found.
Meanwhile, the police arrested Vishal, who knew Sharath and his sister very well. When questioned, he is said to have confessed to the crime.
Vishal is Sharath's sister's classmate from the school. So, he knew both the sister and brother. Knowing their financial condition well, he planned the kidnap. But when the family informed the police, he killed the boy on the spot.
Meanwhile, he acted as if he was concerned about the kidnap and tried to get information from the sister about the actions the family was taking, who had no clue that she was helping the kidnapper.
