Seven post offices in Bengaluru are making provisions to insert corrections in the Aadhaar card details as applicable from June 30. The facility was inaugurated by Chief Post Master General Dr Charles Lobo and UIADI Deputy General Pranab Mohanty at the headquarters of Bengaluru Post Office on Friday.

Those who want to change details in their name, address email ID, mobile phone number and photograph can visit any of the eight post offices in Bengaluru and get the necessary changes made to the Aadhaar card.

In the first phase as applicable from Friday, changes will be made at the Main Post Offices including the one situated at Ambedkar Veedhi, RT Nagar, HAL II Stage. Sources said that from July 10 Aadhaar card details can be changed at all the other post offices in Bengaluru limits.
