The Karnataka state cabinet has a proposal to impose toll fee on 19 state highways that cover 1,530 km. These highways have been developed under Karnataka State Highways Improvement Project (KSHIP) with aid from World Bank, and the execution was done by Karnataka Road Development Corporation Ltd (KRDCL).Â

According to reports, the toll will be levied on 16 KSHIP and 3 KRDCL road users.Â
