Martin Guptill took a blinder of a catch to dismiss Lendl Simmons, who was looking extremely dangerous during that incredible run chase on Thursday. Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) set a daunting target of 231 runs for Mumbai Indians. Believe it or not, Mumbai Indians almost pulled off the best run chase in the history of the Indian Premier League. Simmons and Parthiv Patel, the two Mumbai Indian openers, were scoring at the rate of knots. In 8.3 overs, Mumbai Indians had already put up 99 runs on the scoreboard, courtesy, some relentless hitting from Simmons and Patel. KXIP were desperate for a wicket.

Guptill was stationed at the boundary and he went airborne to pull off a screamer of a catch to turn the tides in KXIP's favour.
