There is one thing common between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 - their insipid-looking bowling units, which have failed to make any impact whatsoever. There's another thing surprisingly common between the two teams - two aggressive skippers in the form of Virat Kohli and Steve Smith.

Both RCB and RPS are in dire need of a win and the stage could not get any better. On one hand, the Suoergiant have lost three in a row and on the other, RCB have lost two consecutive games. This has halted their progress in the IPL 2017.

The contest between Virat Kohli and Steve Smith will be an interesting one as both the captains are always charged up to get the better of each other. This increases the thrill quotient of the clash and thereby making the game into an absolute ripper.

The RCB fans will be expecting a full game of T20 cricket but the rain Gods will have to spare them from the horror. The drizzle during the day is likely to make the temperature cooler in the evening and the outfield a lot better. The dew factor somehow cannot be ruled out as it is a night game.

But the crowd are surely in for a real treat when RCB will square off against RPS at the Chinnaswamy Stadium  in Bengaluru on Sunday evening.
