SRH vs RCB Yuvraj Singh Moises Henriques muscles host to 207

The 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) kick-started on an exciting note as the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have put a commanding total on the board. Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) stand-in skipper Shane Watson had won the toss and asked SRH to bat first on a wicket that looks like a belter. The ball has been coming nicely on to the bat and most of the SRH batsmen have managed to add some valuable runs to the scoreboard.

SRH skipper David Warner started off in his typical fashion but did not last long as debutant Aniket Choudhary dismissed the attacking Australian opener. After that, the partnership between Shikhar Dhawan and Moises Henriques set the foundation for the remaining batsmen of SRH. The duo of Dhawan and Henriques added 74 runs from 53 balls. Henriques went on to hit the first half century of IPL 2017.

But the star of the show was none other than Yuvraj Singh. From the moment he walked out in the middle, he threatened all the RCB bowlers; did not spare any, not even the most expensive bowler of IPL 2017 - Tymal Mills. Yuvraj struck thunderous form in the very first match of the IPL 2017. Everything he was striking was coming straight out of the middle of his willow. He scored his fastest IPL fifty and the first one for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the very first match of IPL 2017.

On the other hand, RCB were absolutely poor on the field. They dropped several catches. Surprisingly, Yuvraj was dropped thrice and that is something the southpaw would have definitely capitalised on and so he did. Watson's tactics was clearly all over the place and he was clueless on the field. His changes were predictable and SRH batsmen had it easy to reach this commanding total.

RCB batsmen have a huge total to chase now and that too they are without their two main batsmen - Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. It will be interesting to see whether RCB can chase down a total of 208 in their 20 allotted overs.
