Manan Vohra - a name that has still probably ringing in the ears of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) players after that incredible innings he played for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) against them. If Bhuvneshwar Kumar did not come to their rescue, Vohra would have had the last laugh instead of SRH skipper David Warner on Monday.

KXIP needed 160 runs to win from 120 balls. The way wickets kept on tumbling from one end of the pitch, KXIP looked helpless at one point of time. And then Vohra's masterclass happened. Cometh the hour, cometh the man - Manan Vohra. A scintillating innings which was decorated with 9 fours and 5 humongous sixes.

He was hitting the ball out of the park with consummate ease and the SRH players had their heart in their mouth when he was playing that astounding knock of 95 runs from just 50 balls. Even Warner could not resist but go and congratulate him after he got out. Yuvraj Singh also lauded his efforts.

We probably will witness many of such innings later during this IPL 2017, but we are unlikely to witness an innings of such class and valour. A herculean effort from a man who did everything right but climax got the better of him. Well played Manan Vohra!
