SRH vs GL TV Schedule: Where to watch, Timing of Match 6 of IPL 2017

The defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on the low-on-morale Gujarat Lions (GL) in Match no. 6 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday. This is going to be the second afternoon-evening game of the IPL 2017. The Sunrisers are coming into this fixture on the back of a terrific win over Royal Challengers Bangalore. Meanwhile, the Gujarat Lions will look to bounce back after they were thrashed by the Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 wickets on Friday.

 

SRH will look to carry on with the momentum that they have gained after they beat RCB at their home ground by 35 runs. David Warner and co. are already looking threatening right from the start of the tournament. However, skipper Warner need to hit the form. If he has to lead from the front, he needs to get some runs under his belt. That will give him and his side a major boost for the rest of the IPL 2017.

Gujarat Lions on the other hand, got their team combination horribly wrong for their first match against the Knight Riders. They chose four foreign recruits and all four were batsmen. When they have the like of James Faulkner in their rank, why would they go for four overseas batsmen? The reason is unknown as of yet. Captain Suresh Raina will definitely amend a lot of things after their 10-wicket drubbing in the hands of KKR. Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja's absence from the playing also hurt them.

 

It was good to see Raina getting a half-century under his belt but he needs a lot more support from the other batsmen and all-rounders from his side. At this moment, SRH will have their noses ahead against Gujarat Lions.
