Shocking This hard hitting batsman will not be playing for Delhi daredevils

Delhi Daredevils have taken another blow after Quinton de Kock has been ruled out of the IPL 2017. Just a few days ago another South African cricketer JP Duminy pulled himself out of the 10th edition of the IPL. With two hard-hitting batsmen missing from their ranks, Delhi Daredevils have a serious problem to deal with.

De Kock had suffered tendon damage in his right index finger and will take at least six weeks to recover from his injury. As a result, he cannot feature in the IPL 2017. He wants to regain 100 percent fitness before the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, which is scheduled to start from June 1 (just a week after IPL 10 gets over).

However, it should not be much of a problem for Delhi Daredevils as they have plenty of wicket-keeping options in the form of Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson and Aditya Tare. But they might miss the firepower right at the top of the batting order. In that case, the unpicked wicket-keeper batsman from Australia, Brad Haddin is not a bad option to replace for the upcoming IPL 2017.

But for now, Delhi Daredevils, who are yet to win the IPL, have a huge task up their sleeves to choose two cricketers from a pool of players who went unsold at the IPL 2017 players’ auction.
