RPS vs MI full schedule Where to watch timing of match 2 of IPL 2017

The Maharashtra derby of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be staged at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on April 6, Thursday. Both Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) will look to make a winning start to their IPL 2017 campaign. But it is not going to be easy for either of the side.

Rising Pune Supergiant have already lost two crucial players just ahead of the start of the IPL in the form of Ravichandran Ashwin and Mitchell Marsh. Ashwin’s replacement has not yet been named but Imran Tahir has found a way into the RPS squad for the 10th edition of the IPL.

RPS skipper Steve Smith has a huge task up his sleeves as he is not familiar with the players in his squad. He will be needing a fair amount of assistance from the former captain MS Dhoni and Ajinkya Rahane to get his tactics in place during the IPL 2017.

Mumbai Indians on the other hand, have maintained their core and have added a few more important players to their ranks for IPL 2017. Captain Rohit Sharma has been declared fit to play just before the start of the league and it brought smiles on the faces of the Mumbai Indians’ fans.

However, Hitman Rohit Sharma will miss the Yorker-king Lasith Malinga in his ranks as he has been ruled out of the IPL because of an injury. Mitchell Johnson, who was bought earlier this year at the IPL 2017 auction, should step up to the occasions in this case.
