- Rising Pune Supergiant lost their last game against Kings XI Punjab.
- On the other hand, Delhi Daredevils were outclassed by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) will come back at their home ground, which is the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, to play their second home game against Delhi Daredevils on Tuesday. Both teams were handed a drubbing respectively and they will look to get back to winning ways.
RPS skipper Steve Smith has been in stunning form and he will look to continue with his form against the Daredevils as well. Ajinkya Rahane too has been in good shape and also has been striking the ball really well. The top order looks more or less sorted for RPS but Smith might just look forward to accommodating Faf du Plessis in the playing XI to add more stability.
The Daredevils on the other hand, will be kicking themselves after they lost a match against RCB which was theirs to win. Rishabh Pant was the lone ranger who tried to take the Daredevils over the line but could not go for the fullMonty at the end. A player of his quality will look to emulate similar performances in the rest of the IPL 2017.
Their bowlers have done exceptionally well in the first match and it is highly unlikely that Zaheer Khan is going to make any changes to his squad for their clash against the Rising Pune Supergiant on Tuesday.
