It has indeed been a fairytale season for Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS). A team that was reeling at the bottom of the points table in the last season have finished in the second place in the ongoing season of the IPL.

Steve Smith and co. have now set up a derby date with Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 1. In case you have forgotten, RPS have got the better of Mumbai Indians twice in the tournament. Smith would not want to let this opportunity go.

RPS crushed Kings XI Punjab by nine wickets at the MCA Stadium in Pune. Smith's side was relentless right from the start of the game. KXIP did not even get one opportunity to bounce back in the game.

The way RPS have turned the wheels of fortune in their favour, Mumbai Indians should actually start worrying about their next fixture. The Qualifier 1 will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday.
