Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will lock horns with Delhi Daredevils (DD) in Match no. 5 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday. Delhi Daredevils are eyeing a winning start to their IPL 2017 campaign against an injury-hit RCB side. RCB lost their first match against the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad and the absence of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers hurt them big time.

Going by their fitness, it does not look like De Villiers and Kohli will feature in the playing XI against the Daredevils on Saturday. In that case, Shane Watson will continue to lead the side. However, if the Australian does not work on his fitness, it might be difficult for him to come up with a better show. There were a number of occasions in the first match where he could have stepped up for his side and lead from the front, but that did not happen.

The Daredevils on the other hand, will look to capitalise on the mess that RCB are in at the moment. But they should not be overconfident about themselves as RCB still have plenty of match-winners in their side. DD skipper Zaheer Khan will have to choose his playing XI wisely as the Bangalore wicket is known for the way it usually assists the batsmen. They do have a lot of bowling options up their sleeves, it will be interesting to see how Zaheer implements them.
