The IPL 2017 is just around the corner and the tickets hare slowly going live. The excitement level has been on the rise ever since the IPL auction for the 10th edition of the T20 extravaganza. The most amazing part about the auction this year was when the Afghanistan players got picked up for the IPL 10.

One of these Afghanistan players, Rashid Khan, will be brushing his shoulders with the big daddies of international cricket in Sunrisers Hyderabad. Khan has been still been finding it difficult to digest the fact that he will be playing in the most popular T20 of the world.

"IPL is the biggest league in the world, much bigger than playing associate cricket. I have started working harder ever since the IPL auction. It feels unreal that I will be sharing the dressing room with the players, I have grown up watching on television," Rashid said.

Also, Rashid has been a huge fan of Indian superstar Yuvraj Singh, who also features in the Sunrisers Hyderabad side. Rashid is looking forward to learn the tricks of the IPL trade from his childhood and wants to make an impact his first season in the IPL.

"I have been a huge Yuvraj fan since childhood. I really like his aggressive style. Hopefully, I will get to spend time with him and get an insight into his cricketing knowledge,” Rashid added.

"It will also be very special to be with support staff comprising former players like Tom Moody, VVS Laxman and Muttiah Muralitharan. I spoke to Moody sir after the auction. He welcomed me into the squad."
