There is one team that sends a chill down the spines of the bowlers in the IPL and they are the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). It is because of their incredibly strong batting lineup, which makes them a threatening side no matter where they play. They are a side, who does not tinker with their core much and makes a big-money player every year.

Last year, they had roped in Shane Watson and this year, they have splurged a whopping ₹ 12 crore for Tymal Mills at the IPL 2017 players’ auction. If skipper Virat Kohli continues with his heroics like he did in IPL 2016, then God save the bowlers! Kohli had scored over 900 runs in IPL 2016, a feat which no other batsman has achieved in the history of the tournament.

They have incredible finishers in their ranks as well – Watson, AB de Villiers, Kedar Jadhav and Stuart Binny are ideal to fit in that category. However, there might be a temptation to play Travis Head, who ahs exceptionally well for Australia in recent times and also he can bowl a few overs.

There’s only one thing that stands in between them and the IPL title is their bowling lineup. They would want Mills to do exactly what Mustafizur Rahman did for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2016. But Yuzvendra Chahal, Pawan Negi, Sreenath Aravind and Harshal Patel are decent bowling options but it won’t be good enough to bring them the title.
