Mumbai Indians (MI) are surely going to be a team to beat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017. They are the only side other than Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to have lifted the IPL title twice. However, Chennai Super Kings have also won it twice but they are suspended until 2018.
Mumbai Indians have maintained their core, which have won them two titles. They also have added some interesting players to their rank; Nicholas Pooran and Asela Gunaratne being two of them. They have also brought back Mitchell Johnson back in their side.
However, Jasprit Bumrah can make up for an injured Lasith Malinga, who is likely to miss the initial few matches of IPL 2017. The Spin department also looks to be in the safe hands of the veteran Harbhajan Singh and he will be ably assisted by Karn Sharma and K Gowtham.
