IPL 2017 After Kohli now AB de Villiers may not play RCB matches

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are in deep trouble as yet another superstar is likely to miss out on IPL 2017. IPL 2017 has been plagued by injuries and especially RCB. The side which is yet to win an IPL title has already lost the likes of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. Mitchell Starc had already pulled out of the 10th edition of the IPL.

Reports are suggestive of the fact that De Villiers sustained a back injury just before the domestic 50 – over Momentum Cup in South Africa. He was supposed to feature for the Titans in the final but could not make it because of that injury.

Cricket South Africa had tweeted about the injury on Friday and that dropped as a bomb on the RCB fans. This will be an uphill task for the Men in Red and Black in IPL 2017 as they are likely to be without their superstars for the first couple of weeks.

RCB is supposed to take on the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad in the opening game of the IPL 10 on April 5 in the latter’s home ground.
