Gujarat Lions (GL) is going to face a stiff test as they will take on the mighty Mumbai Indians (MI) at the SCA Stadium in Rajkot on Saturday evening. Suresh Raina and co. have managed to win only three out of the eight they have played. This shows that it really has not been their season unlike IPL 2016.

Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have been one of the best sides of the IPL 2017. They have managed to win six games already and they are closing in on that elusive IPL 2017 playoff spot. However, Mumbai Indians will not be able to go to the top of the points table even if they win the match today. Because KKR have a better un rate.

Is it probably a little too late for Gujarat Lions? This is the question that will ring in Suresh Raina's mind but he should keep all these thoughts away and play their best game. They still have a fair chance of making it to the IPL 2017 playoffs.

Mumbai Indians lost their last game against Rising Pune Supergiant in their last game. Therefore, Rohit Sharma and co. will look to bounce back into their rhythm again. Krunal Pandya might get back into the playing XI as he was rested for the last game. Lions are unlikely to make any changes to their side.
