Gujarat Lions lost a close encounter against Mumbai Indians in their previous game and now Suresh Raina and co. will run into a low-on-morale Royal Challengers Bangalore side, who are reeling in this 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) so far.

The return of Virat Kohli did not help their cause as the team really needs to understand that their skipper is no superman and they also need to contribute if they would want to win games. Having lost four out of five games in IPL 2017 so far, RCB are in all sorts of trouble.

However, RCB is one side which cannot be underestimated because of the sheer brilliance they have in their ranks. They took a while to change things in IPL 2016 and ended up being in the final as well. Kohli and co. need that one elusive win which will help them to boost their morale and the current state of mind.

Meanwhile, the Rajkot wicket is likely to suit them as it has a lot of runs to offer. But it won't be a cakewalk against Gujarat Lions. They are also a side which finished at the top of the IPL 2016 points table. Suresh Raina's side has a lot of potential and they can give RCB a run for the money as well.

RCB should not tinker with their combination much as they have done in IPL 2017. Gujarat Lions, on the other hand, is likely to make a couple of changes to their playing XI. Aaron Finch will replace Jason Roy and Dhawal Kulkarni may get the nod instead of Munaf Patel. Dwayne Bravo is yet to gain match fitness.

Likely XIs:

Gujarat Lions: Dwayne Smith, Brendon McCullum, Suresh Raina (C), Dinesh Karthik (wk), Aaron Finch, Ishan Kishan, Ravindra Jadeja, Andrew Tye, Praveen Kumar, Basil Thampi, Dhawal Kulkarni.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers, Kedar Jadhav (wk), Mandeep Singh, Stuart Binny, Pawan Negi, Samuel Badree, Yuzvendra Chahal, S Arvind, Tymal Mills.
