Exclusive MS Dhoni ruled out of IPL 2017

This could be the worst news for the Indian cricket fans as they probably did not even have any idea about this in their wildest of dreams – MS Dhoni has now joined the injured players' list and has been ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017.

This will be a huge blow for Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) as they already have lost two important players this season in the form of Mitchell Marsh and Ravichandran Ashwin due to injuries. Now Dhoni added himself to that list as well.

The decorated former Indian captain sustained a nasty injury on his left posterior during a practice session on Sunday morning. He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital and there he is supposed to undergo a scan. After that, the doctors are going to come up with the report which will decide whether Dhoni will be able to play in IPL 2017.

Earlier, Dhoni was relieved off his captaincy duties and Steve Smith was appointed as the skipper of RPS for the upcoming 10th edition of the IPL.
