Another injury hits Gujarat Lions, as Brendon McCullum has been ruled out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017. Suresh Raina and co are in big trouble now as their number of overseas players have been reduced to only four.

Dwayne Bravo, Andrew Tye and Jason Roy were already out of the IPL 2017. Roy had to join Surrey for the Royal London One-Day Cup and the other two are injured. Now Gujarat Lions opening batsman Brendon McCullum joins the list.

Gujarat Lions' current overseas players are - Dwayne Smith, Aaron Finch, Chirag Suri and James Faulkner. Raina has no other option but to play all these players for their next game against Kings XI Punjab.
