It is showtime here in India as the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 is all set to kick-start from April 5. The venues for the all the other matches have already been announced. Due to some issues, few of the teams will not be able to play their home matches at their home grounds.

The IPL 2017 Qualifier 1 will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and the remaining two Eliminator matches will be hosted at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Hyderabad will get to host the big IPL 2017 final as well.

"Mumbai lost out in last year's IPL Playoff because of the drought issue. That is why Mumbai has been shortlisted for one of the qualifiers," Shukla was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to honour the fabulous five of Indian cricket – Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Virender Sehwag, ahead of the opening match of the IPL 2017.
