Dr. Ankur Pare is an eminent sociologist from Madhya Pradesh has become a member of the International Society for the Comparative Study of the Civilization (ISCSC) which is an international scholarly organization dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of civilization which is based at Michigan University in the United States. It was formed in 1961 and has members from 30 countries. The society conducts an annual general meeting and publishes the bi-annual journal ‘Comparative Civilization Review’. Its mission is to provide means of cooperation among all persons interested in the comparative study of civilization.

It is a matter of pride for any individual to become a member of this society in one of the most reputed organizations in the world. Dr. Ankur Pare is relentlessly working for the upliftment of deprived sections of society. His mission is to work in the direction of strengthening the nation in the social-political and economic sphere and help in creating that work faster on every front with peoples’ cooperation. He is a firm supporter of good governance, crime-free politics, citizen charter, and the Right to information. He also wants to make India a leading nation in education and research.

Dr. Pare is particularly concerned about the hardships of displaced families due to industrialization. He has also written and presented a research paper on the Study of the social status of the affected families due to Hydroelectric, mining, and irrigational projects for the development of Madhya Pradesh and many other research papers in this area.

Having extensive experience in the social sector, Dr. Pare has participated in various seminars and conferences. He has also presented seminar papers on issues like rural community development, economic development, sustainable development Feminism, Criminalization of politics, Indian Bureaucracy, food safety, and environmental protection to name a few. There is hardly any topic that is concerned with the Indian socio-economic development and the fabric of Indian culture that has remained untouched by the area of research by Dr. Pare.

Most people know that Dr. Pare holds the highest degrees Ph.D. from Barkatullah University and Post -Doctoral Research Fellowship from ICSSR, but few know that he has pursued a Graduate degree in law (LLB) as well as the Post Graduate Degree in Law (LLM) so that he can not only understand the legalities associated with all the sectors he is working in but can also handle them in the court of law whenever and wherever the need arises.

Besides a sociologist, he is also a great humanitarian and works in rural areas for the upliftment of the most backward section of the society in collaboration with various Not-for-profit organizations. 

He feels humbled and proud that he has been able to become a member of a prestigious Institution like ISCSC and is determined to keep working for the country’s betterment.
