Mysuru: The Mysuru district administration has imposed Section144 around Mysuru Palace to avoid gathering of public around the palace during the festivities happening the entire day.

The Mysuru police have locked down all the roads connecting the place to stop all those who may flock towards the palace to have a glimpse of the Jamboo Savari. Only those who have a valid pass to witness the procession are being allowed in and around the palace.

Despite Section 144 being imposed around the palace many citizens were seen clicking selfies or just taking a stroll around the palace.

Meanwhile, it was reported that this year only two tableaux will be allowed to take part in the Mysuru Dasara procession. Unlike every year only five cultural troupes will be allowed to perform in the Jamboo Savari.
