Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will flag off the much-anticipated Humsafar Express from Gorakhpur on Friday. The train is equipped with many facilities and will run till Anand Vihar. The entire journey will be covered in 12-13 hours. The train is not going to run at a speed with which Talgo or Gatimaan Express cruises, but it can hit a speed of 130km/hr.

Passengers travelling in this train will have to shell out 1.15% more than the normal fare of an AC three tier berth.

Humsafar Express will stop at Chipyana Buzurg, Gonda, Kanpur Central, Lucknow (NR), Barabanki and Basti during its journey.

The highest fare of this train will be ₹ 1656, which will include reservation fees, superfast charges and service tax.

Targeted to the middle-class travellers who seek luxury at affordable prices, Humsafar Express will have coffee machines, colourful interiors and many other facilities to allure the passengers.
