The Delhi police on Sunday arrested four teenagers, for killing a 17-year-old. The four teens tied the victim to a chair before slitting his throat with a meat cleaver.
One of the accused later admitted to the police that he along with his friends killed the teen as he was harassing his sister.
According to the police sources, the killing took place in outer Delhi’s Kanjhawala. The accused were apprehended and body of the teenager was recovered two days ago from a house.
During interrogation, the juveniles said that the teenage boy used to harass the sister of one of the accused and had been warned against pursuing the girl, but he persisted.
"During the investigation, it was found that the teenager was killed by his juvenile friend, with whom he used to consume ganja," a senior police officer said.
On June 16, the four consumed ganja with the teenager and one of them later slit his neck.The knife was later recovered, said the officer
