Coronavirus: Rajya Sabha MP salutes health workers, says 'let us unite and fight this pandemic together'

 BJP Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar applauded health workers at Bengaluru's Victoria Hospital. He took to Twitter to thank the men and women taking care of COVID-19 patients at the hospital.

Bengaluru:  BJP Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar took to Twitter to thank health workers at Bengaluru's Victoria Hospital. He shared a video thanking the health workers and urged all to unite and fight this coronavirus pandemic together.

He wrote, "Day 24/40 of #Lockdown A grateful Thank you to hardworking team at #Bengaluru’s #VictoriaHospital 🙏🏻 This is designated #CoronaVirus hospital for #Namma #Bengaluru n played a huge role in protecting our city n all of us 🙏🏻🙏🏻." @BSYBJP @sriramulubjp @mla_sudhakar @narendramodi."

In the video, the MP thanked the men and women of the hospital separately. He thanked each one taking their names - from doctors, nurses, technicians, health workers, sanitation workers and administrators. 

Karnataka on Friday reported 38 fresh cases of COVID-19, taking the state's tally to 353. This is the highest single day increase in cases in the state since the first that was detected on March 8.
