Bengaluru: Round 3 of BDA corner sites e-auction to begin on September 9
The third round of BDA corner sites e-auction will begin from September 9. Corner sites in HSR Layout, JP Nagar, Banashankari and other areas are to be included.
FollowBengaluru: The Karnataka government had earlier decided to auction BDA sites to raise funds.
 The sites which had been seized from encroachers were to be sold in the e-auction.
 After two successful auctions the government is set to begin its 3rd e-auction from September 9.

 A total of 402 corner sites will be put up in the e-auction from areas such as the Arkavathy Layout, HSR Layout, Sir M Vishweshwaraiah Layout, JP Nagar, Banashankari and Jnana Bharathi.
The e-auction will begin at 11 in the morning on September 9 and last until 3 in the afternoon.
The auction will take place in 6 phases, and 70 sites will be slotted in each phase. Geo-mapping of each site has been published on the Bengaluru Development Authority website, making it easy for bidders from across the globe.
 Phases of bidding:
 ·     The first phase of the auction will have sites from no 1-70. The bidding for these sites will take place from September 9 to September 25.
 ·     The second phase of the auction will have sites from no 71-140. The bidding for these sites will take place from September 10 to September 28.
 ·     The third phase of the auction will have sites from no 141-210. The bidding for these sites will take place from September 11 to September 29.
 ·     The fourth phase of the auction will have sites from no 211-280. The bidding for these sites will take place from September 12 to September 30.
 ·     The fifth phase of the auction will have sites from no 281-350. The bidding for these sites will take place from September 14 to October 1.
 ·     The sixth phase of the auction will have sites from no 350-402. The bidding for these sites will take place from September 15 to October 3.
