Commuters and office goers who were dependent on Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) may find their favourite, cheap and easy transport system run as normal.

The rain will run 14 hours starting from 7am to 9pm in both green and purple line connecting Baiyappanahalli to Mysuru Road and Nagasandra to Yelachenahalli

However, keeping the pandemic and its impact in mind, the authorities will resume with its service with certain conditions.

As per reports, only 400 people will be allowed per trip and persons above 60 years of age and below 10 are not allowed.

The authorities are yet to take a call on allowing passengers with a token system and are allowing passengers only those with Metro Smart card.

Passengers will be subjected to thermal screening and only 50 people will be allowed inside the station at a time.

If the train witnesses a capacity of 400 passengers, passengers will not be allowed to board the train and will have to wait for the next one.

Only selected seats marked should be occupied and distance has to be maintained.

Social distancing is a must during boarding and deboarding.
