A senior BMTC official stated that the number of passengers is expected to increase in the coming days.
With a total of six and a half thousand buses, only four thousand buses are being operated now by the BMTC.

Despite undergoing losses, the BMTC is continuing to operate and serve the citizens as the bus services come under the essential services. Â
