Mithun Chakraborty gets Y+ security from home ministry
The Union Home Ministry on Wednesday (March 10) provided Y-plus security cover to actor Mithun Chakraborty who has recently joined the BJP.

FollowThere are practically 11 commandos in Y Plus security. They always keep the person concerned outside. At the same time, 55 security personnel will be deployed around the house of the person or woman concerned.

According to sources, the Central Industrial Security Force will provide security cover to veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty.
A senior officer said, “Chakraborty has been given a 'Y+' cover and armed CISF commandos will accompany him during poll campaign in West Bengal.”
With these new inductions, the CISF now protects a total of 104 VIPs, including National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Mithun Chakraborty joined the BJP on March 7. He was introduced to the voters of West Bengal as "Bangalar Chhele" by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his Brigade Parade Ground rally earlier this week.
Just after three days of joining BJP, Mithun Chakraborty got Y-plus security cover from the Union Home Ministry.
