The second round of voting in the state on April 1. Among the 30 constituencies to be polled on Thursday are two high-voltage centers, Nandigram and Kharagpur.
Mithun and Hiran were both former members of the Trinamool Congress. They left the party and joined the BJP. In the middle of the magnificent road show, Mithun Chakraborty was seen dancing with Hiran beside him. The slogan of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ was heard in the roadshow.
On Tuesday, Mithun Chakraborty started preaching in support of Hiran Chatterjee by performing puja in a Durga temple in Kharagpur.
Mithun Chakraborty joined the BJP at Modi's meeting at Brigade Maidan on March 8. Mithun Chakraborty has been campaigning in full support of BJP candidates since March 25. He will also campaign in support of Shuvendu Adhikari in Nandrigram this afternoon. Mithun Chakraborty will also attend a road show at Tarkeshwar in Hooghly, Kakdwip in South 24 Parganas.
