BJP will make Sunderban a separate district if it comes to power in Bengal: Amit Shah
Union home minister Amit Shah attended a public meeting at Gosaba in Sunderban. At the meeting, Shah said, “If the BJP comes to power in Bengal, we will make Sundarbans a separate district.”

The Sundarbans will be developed to attract tourists from all over the world. Fishermen will be given insurance of Rs 3 lakh. A tiger conservation center will be set up. Arrangements have been made to provide electricity, bathroom and cooking gas to the houses.”<br /> </p>

<p>Note that after Gosaba, Amit Shah will go to West Midnapore. He will do a road show from Keranitla junction in Medinipur town to Golkunya Chowk at Bottala junction.<br /> </p>
