Apple announces 'Unleashed' event on October 18; Here's what you can expect
Although the company has not revealed the new products, the rumour mill suggests the release of new MacBook computers powered on the yet-to-be-announced Apple M1X SoC.
Apple has officially confirmed that its next event, dubbed 'Unleashed,' will be held on October 18. Although the company has not revealed the new products, the rumour mill suggests the release of new MacBook computers powered on the yet-to-be-announced Apple M1X SoC. Previously, renowned Apple analyst and writer Mark Gurman predicted that the firm would release new MacBook Pro models, most likely with more extensive displays. Last year, the firm released the first M1-powered MacBook and MacBook Pro with 13-inch displays and a redesigned Mac Mini. The release of the new AirPod 3 might be on the agenda.
Apple's next Unleashed event will occur a day before the Google Pixel 6 series' formal debut. The Apple Unleashed event will begin at 10:00 a.m. PDT (10:30 p.m. in India), and fans will be able to watch it live on the company's website and official YouTube channel. Last month, Apple unveiled the newest iPhone 13 series, iPad (9th generation), and 5G-enabled iPad mini. The yet-to-be-announced Apple M1X processor is said to have more professional-focused and graphics-intensive capabilities.
In addition, the CPU is said to have enhanced neural processing capabilities and up to 64GB of RAM. Earlier rumours said that the M1X would have 10 CPU cores (eight high-performance and two high-efficiency) and possibly 16 or 32 graphics cores. The most recent M1X-powered Apple MacBook Pro notebooks might come in two sizes: 14-inch and 16-inch. In addition, the laptops may include a mini-LED display, quicker charging, and the reintroduction of an HDMI connection on a MacBook. There may be an SD card reader slot as well as compatibility for MagSafe wireless charging.
The AirPods 3, on the other hand, may have an AirPod Pro-like design with a shorter stem. The third-generation AirPods are also expected to have silicone ear tips instead of the one-size-fits-all hard case bud seen on the AirPods 1 and AirPods 2. However, they may still lack active noise cancellation, which is now included in the Pro TWS earbuds. Apple released the Apple AirPods 2 in 2019.
