With summer, seasonal problems have also entered our life, like fever, constipation, dehydration, stomach illness, etc. Here's how you can keep them at bay.
The scorching sun and humid weather drain out all our fluid and energy, leaving us dehydrated. It is essential to maintain a proper summer diet and a healthy lifestyle to avoid stomach ailments or any other problems.
As doctors say, many problems come with stomach issues, like Gastroenteritis (liquid motion, blood induced motion, vomiting, dehydration, nausea, etc.) You can also face Jaundice for having irregular food habits. Loss of fluids can cause constipation, or you can get IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Contaminated food can cause food poisoning too. Keep yourself on a healthy diet.
First, Drink lots and lots of water. You can also add healthy drinks, coconut water, fruit coolers, or smoothies with almond milk or low-fat milk. Keep your body hydrated always.
Eat light foods, less amount of food at regular intervals. Add fibre to your diet. Eat fresh veggies, mainly green ones and fruits, as a side dish or salad. Always add dry fruits and nuts to your breakfast meal or after breakfast.
Avoid all spicy junk food. Junk Foods are a big no-no. Pizzas, burgers can cause acidity, bloating, and even stomach inflammation. Stale food or roadside food can cause food poisoning.
Add yoghurt to your diet. It will keep your body cool, and it is packed with protein and pro bacteria that helps in easing out the digestion process.
Incorporate exercise and yoga or running and a fixed workout routine to drain out the excess toxins from your body.
