ISL 2020-21: Holicharan Narzary's brace helps Hyderabad FC win big over Chennaiyin FC
This was Hyderabad FC's third win of the season, as along with three draws and loses, each, it has risen to the sixth spot. Chennaiyin FC suffered its third loss of the season, while with two wins and four draws, it has dropped to the eighth place in the table.

FollowHyderabad FC bounced back strong, as it drubbed former champion, Chennaiyin FC, 4-1, in the 2020-21 Indian Super League (ISL), at the GMC Stadium in Goa on Monday. With this win, Hyderabad has risen to the sixth spot, while Chennaiyin drops to eighth.

The opening half saw a total of 15 attacks, including six saved attempts, while four of them were from Chennaiyin goalkeeper, Vishal Kaith. Nonetheless, either side failed to find the net, as they went into the half-time, with the deadlock in place.
The second half saw twin attacks from Chennayin within the 27th minute. However, Hyderabad's Joel Chianese put his side ahead with a right-footed strike to the centre from a similar spot, two minutes later.
It was followed by twin further saves from Kaith before Halicharan Narzary doubled the lead in the 52nd minute, with his left-footed shot to the top left from a corner kick. It resulted in twin further attacks until the 63rd minute.
Nonetheless, three minutes later, Anirudh Thapa allowed Chennayin to earn one back with his right foot to the bottom right from the centre. While Kaith came up with another save in the 73rd minute, the same minute saw Joao Victor fire in the third for Hyderabad, with his right foot to the top left from the centre, following an assist from Mohammad Yasir.
Five minutes later, Narzary scored the fourth with his left foot, into the bottom right from the centre, thanks to Francisco Sandaza's assist. It resulted in only an attack thereon from Chennaiyin, as the job was already done for Hyderabad, who secured the three points at the full-time whistle.
