In what turned out to be an unexpected tough encounter, ATK Mohun Bagan was held to a 2-2 draw by a 10-man Hyderabad FC during the Indian Super League 2020-21 at the Tilak Maidan in Goa on Monday. With this draw, both sides are unchanged in their league positions, as they stay on top and fourth, respectively.

While ATKMB followed it up with an attack, three minutes later, Aridane handed Hyderabad the opening lead, with his right foot to the bottom right from the left flank. It was followed by five more attempts, including a save from ATKMB goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya, as Hyderabad led at half-time.
The second half saw an attack each until the 55th minute, before Manvir Singh drew level for ATKMB the next minute, through his right foot to the top-centre, from a tough angle on the right, thanks to Williams's through ball assist. The next attack came up in the 74th minute, as Roland Alberg restored Hyderabad's lead, with his left foot to the bottom-right from the centre, assisted by Aridane through a header.
ATKMB followed it up with a couple of attacks until the 92nd minute, as the same minute saw Pritam Kotal drawing level again for the side, through his right foot to the centre, in a close-range attempt. Arindam produced another save, four minutes later, to ensure that the honours were shared at the full-time whistle.
