Former chief minister Siddaramaiah's son and MLA Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday (August 7).
Siddaramaiah was tested positive on Monday (August 3) andadmitted in Manipal hospital undergoing treatment.
Yathindra is a Congress MLA from Varuna Constituency and younger son of Siddaramaiah.
A doctor himself, Yathindra on Thursday (August 6) had given an update about his father Siddaramaiah’s condition and said, “His symptomshave subsided and appetite has improved. He is spending time talking to friendson the phone and reading.”
Meanwhile, Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa and Siddaramaiah havebeen responding well to treatment at the Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru.
