Amit Shah to visit Bengal on Feb 18; to have lunch with refugee family at Kakdwip
The BJP has almost finalized the schedule of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's upcoming visit to Bengal. Shah is coming to the state on February 18. He will start the BJP's 'Parivartan Yatra' from Kakdwip.
Amit Shah has multiple programs in South 24 Parganas. The BJP has said that Shah will have lunch with a refugee family in Kakdwip this time. According to sources, Amit Shah will first pay obeisance at Kapil Muni's ashram on February 18. From there, he will go to Namkhana field where he will hold a public meeting.
BJP's state observer Kailash Vijayavargy went to Kakdwip on Monday (February 15) to see all the preparations. He toured Amit Shah's meeting place and the house where Shah would have lunch. He also visited the helipad of Kakdwip.
Amit Shah will hold a public meeting at Indira Maidan. He will also take part in BJP’s 'Parivartan Yatra'. From there he will go straight to the house of Subrata Biswas. Subrata Babu left his homeland in Bangladesh and started living in Kakdwip. He has already got a house from the PM’s housing scheme grant.
After lunch, Amit Shah will do a road show on the tableau of 'Parivartan Yatra'. After that he will return to Delhi via Kolkata.
Amit Shah is coming to West Bengal twice a month before the assembly polls. During his every visit to the state, he is giving a message to the voters of Bengal. Sometimes the Union home minister is having lunch with the tribal families, sometimes with the Matua families. In the face of Matua's pressure on the CAA, the political circles think that Shah is going to give a message again after having lunch with the refugee family.
